The question really is can you afford not to drink Shakeology?

A USA Today article reports that if Americans continue to pack on the pounds, obesity will cost U.S. healthcare $344 billion in medical-related expenses by 2018.

Before Shakeology, I looked like I had something sponge-like under my skin. My arms stuck out akimbo. I WAS disgusted and ashamed of my weight. Ironically, the worse I felt, the hungrier I got…So it was like the dirty snowball effect, rolling downhill, picking up trash from underneath the snow. My health was on a downhill roll too.
My life was like one BIG Chinese buffet. I’d eat a lot and feel hungry again in an hour! And I didn’t know how to overcome it. I used to drive myself crazy craving something I knew I shouldn’t have. Sometimes, I’d actually be physically full, but emotionally hungry. It was powerful, debilitating, and totally irrational. I told my doctor that I desperately wanted to change, but that I just couldn’t stop gaining weight, and saw it as a moral weakness. He didn’t understand that I was HUNGRY ALL THE TIME—even after eating! When I asked him for diet pills, he prescribed antidepressants instead, which led to more lethargy and weight gain. Luckily, a friend told me about Shakeology. He’d heard about the amazing results others were having and suggested we both give it a try. I’m so glad I took him up on it.

It’s no secret that I’ve struggled with nutrition lately. I basically eat clean, but have been having way too many cheat meals, carbs and late nite snacks lately (ughhhh!).
Surprisingly though, I’ve been able to maintain my goal weight (137) and maintain a solid size 4. Sure, I get my share of exercise in each week, but we all know nutrition = 80% of results! It just dawned on me that Shakeology has been my true saving grace by replacing one meal a day – religiously!
Shakeology is only 140 cals, so to increase the calorie count to make a meal, I generally add 1 tbsp natural peanut butter, 1 sc protein powder and weight control maple brown sugar oatmeal. And when I really want a treat, I add a 1/2 banana to the mix! Talking about DE-LICIOUS!!!! Not only am I getting all my daily fruits and veggies, I’m getting protein, healthy fat and whole grains all in one cold and creamy “wonder” Shake! No need to cook and is the EASIEST most well rounded healthy meal on earth! Go Shakeology! You ROCK!!
