My abs are sooooo sore from doing Ab Ripper yesterday. I’m recommitting to doing abs 3 days a week – Ab Ripper, TF Abs 10, and Extreme Core Circuit. I so hope 6 pack abs are in my genes! No matter how much weight/fat I lose, all the remaining fat settles right over my abs! (grrrrrr!!!!).
The one thing I know for sure is that “abs are made in the kitchen”. So I’m focusing on clean, clean eating this month. Through this last year of my fitness journey, I’ve realized that I need a specific goal to strive for or it’s just too easy to eat that chocolate cake or put my workout off til tomorrow. We all know tomorrow never comes. We only have today – the present – to make those little choices that will either get us closer to our goals or further away from them. It’s what Jeff Olson calls “the slight edge”. Last November, I set a goal to workout 4-6 days a week for all 52 weeks of 2010. This November, I set a goal to have 6 pack abs by March 2011. I will have 6 pack abs!! I will, I will, I WILL!!!
