Major calorie burn at Fit Club tonite!
The ladies and I had a fantastic workout with TurboFire 45 EZ Class at the KIPP South Fulton Academy Fit Club tonite. We’re slowly starting to get a group of regulars attending each week. I was very impressed with the ladies who showed up tonite to workout despite the cold and rain. These ladies are totally COMMITTED!! We’re doing the New to Class option for the first few weeks to learn the moves and then we’re taking the training wheels off and pushing full steam ahead!
I was initially concerned that TurboFire would be too fast paced since they’re new to Turbo, but they’re doing a great job at following along with the workout. I’m a firm believer that a good workout should be one that challenges you to push outside your comfort zone and one you can grow into as your fitness level improves. TurboFire is definitely fit for the task, and each week they get better and better. We took official measurements tonite to record in their Team Beachbody profiles so they can track their progress as we go. We concluded with a discussion about healthy eating and calorie counting.
I’m exhausted and it’s too late to cook, so I’m having Shakeology for dinner. I made the Chilled Almond Mocha recipe for the first time and it’s pretty good. It’s good to take a break from my usual peanut butter oatmeal recipe I normally drink. I’m tired and going to bed, but wanted to take the time to post an update. Good nite!
